Promoting Yourself on Blogs

As I have already mentioned, having a blog platform incorporated into your strategy is essential if you are going to succeed in the online space.

Creating a strong marketing strategy on your blog means knowing how marketing on blog works in the first place.

Blogging is a similar marketing strategy as posting on social media, except that you have a greater space to share information and the ability to insert more affiliate links and pictures in the body of the content. Furthermore, there are some great ways that you can promote yourself around other blogs, too.

Having a regular posting schedule is important. This will ensure that content is consistently put up and that your audience knows when they can expect to see new posts from you. For those who love reading blogs, this is a great way to keep them engaged and active. You can also use these posts to let your audience know where you hang out online.

Furthermore, you can keep them branded by marketing yourself as an expert, sharing your favorite products and services, and otherwise promoting other aspects of your brand in the post.

You can also do blog tours. Blog tours are a great way to get seen around the net. Blog tours mean that you write posts that fit other bloggers’ niche, and they post it on their blog.

These other bloggers should share a similar audience as you do, though they should not be your direct competitors. For example, if you write a blog about healthy nutrition and you know of a Mommy Blogger who is focused on promoting healthy families, you could post a family-oriented nutrition post on their blog.

You can get guest posting opportunities by networking with other bloggers and then offering to post on their platforms if they are interested. If they are, they can then create an agreement with you to help you do so.

Another way to promote yourself is if you sell any other forms of products or services that are original to you (not affiliate products or services), you can get these into the hands of other bloggers.

Having them review your personal products or services gets a greater number of eyes on you which results in more people turning to your platforms. Then, anytime you post affiliate content, you are marketing to a larger audience.
